[REVIEW] Suaoki T6 jump starter charger #Suaoki #Charger

I won this as part of a Facebook competition that Suaoki had on their page. I have to say I was very surprised and didn’t quite believe it at first. But a day later the item was swiftly delivered by Amazon.

The charger comes neatly packed in a storage box that contains the following items:

1x Battery pack/Jump Starter
1 Pair Battery clamps
1x Car charger
1x AC Power Charger adapter
1x User manual

All these fit nicely in a box as big as a 10″ tablet (thicker of course) 🙂

20151130_195428

The battery pack is a bit on the large side for my taste, I have seen bigger capacity battery packs in smaller cases, but I think the fact that you can use it to jump start a car accounts for the bulky size.

20151130_195410

I have charged the battery fully with the AC adapter, I think it took about 2 hours to fully charge, but I have to say it wasn’t completely empty out of the box. I have used it all this week, charged my wife’s phone (a Nexus 4) once from 1%; and charged my Xiaomi Mi 4c twice from about 40 to 60%-70%. The battery pack still shows as full 🙂

I haven’t tried the jump starting function and to be honest hope to never have to… but it should work as per the instructions in the manual.

The front of the battery has a pretty strong light (LED I think) which can come in handy.

So, to finalize, this seems to be a sturdy and handy battery pack with the added advantage of a jump starter built – in.

Highly recommended.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 android smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with a 330 Adreno GPU and GB of RAM. But all of us know the the phone is from the Chinese market and If the phone is flashed with the developers ROM to get the root access without losing the warranty, then the Google Apps and services do not open. Or if you bought the phone directly from the chinese market then you can’t find any Google services on your phone. To use all those Google Service you need to install them manually. You can use the same guide to Install Google Play Store on other Xiaomi smartphones including Mi3, Redmi Note, Redmi 2 and Redmi 1S. The guide is pretty simple and only takes a few minutes to install all the Google application on your phone.

[REVIEW] AUDIOMAX EM-7A Headphones Earphones, Noise Isolating, Bass Driven, HD In Ear, Tangle free, Replaceable Earbuds (Black with Mic and Vol. Control)

I have received the Audiomax EM-7A headphones about 2 weeks ago, so I’ve had plenty of time to use and abuse them :).

When they arrived I was pleasantly surprised about the presentation, the headphones being nicely packaged in the usual Avantek/Audiomax box made out of recycled materials.

IMG_20150902_114519

Opening the main box I found a very nice travel/carry box that houses the headphones, the instruction manual, a couple of extra ear buds (small and large) and a clip to use with the headphones.

IMG_20150902_114612

The headphones are very easy to use, just plug them in your chosen audio device and you are good to go. I first tried them with my Xiaomi Redmi 2 and have to admit, these are the best sounding £10.00 I have ever tried. The Redmi 2 does have a pretty good audio chip, but the sound from these headphones is astounding. I have tried them with my work phone, a Samsung S6 edge and the results were just as good, if not better. I even got to use the built in microphone for a couple of calls, and the sound during was clear and crisp with no distortion.

The treble is crisp, the middles quite balanced and the bass is punchy 🙂 🙂 🙂

These are not the most expensive headphones I ever bought, they might actually be one of the cheapest, but the design and the quality of the build and of the sound makes them a recommended buy.

They look like a cross between the Beats audio headphones and the Soundmagic ones.

Oh, and they are made of some sort of aluminium grade material, which means that they will last.

[Review]The Avantek BC-L6 Bluetooth Receiver – £19.99 @AmazonUK

I was sent this to review by Avantek and give my honest opinion.

20150806_124150

I found the Avantek BC-L6 Bluetooth Receiver much smaller than expected, and that is a good thing. It as big as half a golf ball, made out of a good quality black plastic. It should easily fit in almost all cars (that have AUX IN of course). I have tried it with Google’s Voice search and it works great. It should work with Siri without any issues.

20150806_124207

One little drawback with the product is that it comes without an internal battery. This means you have to keep it plugged into the car for it to work. A bonus is that the charger that comes in the box is a two-port USB one, so it means you can use the extra charging port for another device.

20150806_124243

In terms of design, the Avantek BC-L6 Bluetooth is very simple, circular and black, equipped with a permanently attached wire for audio and power connections. The external wire is about 3 feet long and splits for power and audio segregation.

20150806_124408

The Avantek Bluetooth receiver is mountable with the support of a magnetic back. Mounting and detaching is very easy and simple.

20150806_124330

If the top part of the device is twisted, it helps to turn the volume up or down or you can skip tracks. By pushing the centre button down and holding it, it activates the Google Voice search on your phone (or Siri). It can also be used to stream music via Bluetooth from a compatible device. I have tried it with 2 Android powered phones (OnePlus One and a Xiaomi Redmi 2) and it works great.

The sound quality when on the phone or when listening to music is really great, with no stutter or interruptions. The Avantek BC-L6 is priced at just £19.99 which means that as a whole, this gadget is worth buying.

Conclusion :The AVANTEK Portable Bluetooth Receiver comes with more features than many similar products and a clever means of remotely controlling playback from your phone, but it will involve running wires to a power outlet and an auxiliary input in a car.
